Commissions
Ordering your pet portrait: How it works.
If you would like to commission a pet portrait, ordering is a straight forward process. Simply follow these steps.
Ordering Process
1. Contact - First get in touch via my 'contact page' or through social media explaining what you require e.g. pet, medium size etc.
2. Photo submission - Email me a clear, high quality photograph of your pet. The photograph should ideally be a close up that captures the detail of your pet. The better the quality of the photograph, the better the portrait's end result.
3. Size and medium - Confirm the size of the portrait you require and the medium: graphite pencil, pastel pencils, coloured pencils or watercolour.
4. Timeline - I aim to complete your portrait within 2-4 weeks depending on the status of my schedule.
5. Deposit - Once you have chosen the size, medium and the details agreed, a 20% deposit is required to secure your booking (it also prevents timewasters).
6. Approval - Once your pet portrait is completed and has your absolute approval, payment can be made. Payment can be made through PayPal or bank transfer. I will then send your artwork securely packed by Royal Mail.
Why Commission a Pet Portrait
Pets are special to us. They bring happiness, warmth, love and companionship and they share our lives daily. If you adore your pet, whatever its your dog, cat, horse or maybe a mouse or rat, a custom hand painted portrait is the perfect way to capture their unique character and personality to last for years to come.
Whether the portrait is created using pastels, graphite Pencils or watercolour, the time and care taken shows through the art which makes it all that more special. It is much more meaningful than a photographh, digitally rendered or AI. A custom portrait is a sentimental treasure to cherish for many years.
I approach each commission with the utmost care and attention, and with a professional service to ensure you are happy with your purchase.
